Join D.C.'s Arts on Foot fun on Sept. 11!

Art, Wine, and a Block Party = fun! ARTS ON FOOT, entrance at 7th and F streets, NW, fills four Penn Quarter neighborhood blocks with lots o' goodies and activities. The Art Market will be open from 11am to 6pm. Say hello to Jade River Studio in Booth #111 at the corner of 8th and F Sts.! Food demos by top D.C. chefs and samples from area restaurants, music & dance performances included.

"In Misty China" on display until Sept. 5

A solo exhibition by Genevieve Lynn, "In Misty China", closes Sun., September 5 at Gallery West, 1213 King St., in Old Town Alexandria, Va. The show captures moments in landscape, people and culture. Drawing inspiration from travels to this vibrant country, it is a tribute to Lynn's roots. New paintings of Yellow Mountain are featured.
